Ok. You got a hemi under the hood, a smooth ride and a killer sound system. You're goin' on a 500 plus mile trip in your new C.

What tunes do you take with you?

Here's some of my favorites:

Radar Love - Golden Earring

Mustang Sally - Wilson Pickett

Bat out of Hell - Meat Loaf

Love is the Drug - Roxy Music

Ramblin' Man - Allman Bros

Let's hear some of yours...

Music

Good one.

OK it depends on my mood. I like Techno thump and base so thats what i mostly have on. Not that Rap stuff. I grew up on the Classic Rock so i have a little of that. ZZtop Van Halen Who Stones Doors Hnedriks Beatles you know the regulars. Hay that gets me thinking I wonder if Who's Quadrophenia works in the car.(Hmm) Then you have to have Frank, Dino, Sammy the classic real men. And to mix it up how about some Grunge. OH and Rob Zombie, Mansion,Power man 5000 spooky Metal. Some Heavy Metal names don't matter when you want some angry loud guitar.
So somethings from this list is what i would take on that trip.

How about ACDC? A great Aussie band.

Try "I put my love in you" from Back in Black album. "I've got the power, any hour" :D

I could just see and hear this track being used from a 300C Ad on TV.

Guys, I prefer The Very Best of Frank Sinatra and The Very Best of Dean Martin. Of course if my mood is a little different I'll throw in anything Metallica. How is that for a contrast?

Thanks to the mp3 feature I have made 4 cd comps so far with over 100 songs on each to suit the mood.

CD#1 New Rock
Nickleback, Creed, Saliva, Three Doors Down, Train, Revis, Evanesence, Blink182... ect

CD#2 Classic Rock
Led Zep, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Arrowsmith, Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Lynard Skynard .....ect

CD3# Blues
George Thorogood, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Colin James, Powder Blues Band..........ect.

CD#4 Country
Found it in my old pickup truck! lol

Anyway you get the picture, makeing your cds in mp3 data format gives you hundreds of songs to enjoy, no matter what your tastes, and you can organize them so the only thing you have to adjust is the volume when you can't hear what the cop is trying to say to you!

Wow - great tunes. Definitely gonna burn a CD - maybe call it:
"C to Shining C - Great Drivin' Tunes"

- here's some more from me:

Born To Be Wild - Steppenwolf

Cruisin' - Jefferson Starship

Drift Away - Uncle Krocker

Runnin' Back to Saskatoon - The Guess Who

Joy to the World - 3 Dog Night

Another One Bites the Dust - Queen

Keep those song titles coming, boys and girls.

Scarbrs......... To burn a mp3 select burn on your windows media player, On the right hand side you will see a picture of a disc and it says "cd drive" hit the pull down and select "data cd". You will now be burning in mp3 format and it will tell you when you have reached the limit of songs for the disc, probably 160-190 songs. Enjoy!
