Floor mats wearing a hole ?

I only have 2K on the car and the drivers floor mat has worn a hole in it where the heel of my shoes would rest most of the time. Anyone else?

Wow.... you don't have restless leg syndrome or anything, do you? ;)

But seriously, surely the floormats can't be that flimsy, can they? At 2k miles, you haven't even been introduced properly!

You don't work or play near acids or caustics, do you?

Sounds like a warranty claim to me.
I agree. You need to see your dealer
I have restless leg syndrome, which is why I have big rubber winter mats down. They're so ugly, but keep the carpet clean. Hey, James...Did you see the post about the dead-pedal area where Miles and I were kicking around solutions to keep that area clean? We need a 90 degree molded plastic corner, roughly the same color as the carpet to encapsulate the entire area down there. then, when it gets dirty, we can pull it out and rinse it, leaving the carpet underneath untoutched. I know you don't do plastics, but maybe you know someone who does? I'll but it, and a leather center console cover! I promise!

Hey, that's a really good idea, putting something down in the dead-pedal area. I'm already planning to get the winter slush mats, but anything else we can do to keep the carpet pristine would be great!
Aspendog,
Maybe you ought to take those 4" stilleto heels off before you drive :)
