Finally got round to rebuilding my front brake calipers. This problem showed itself when I put new discs and pads in a while back, when the pistons were pushed back to accomodate the new pads they were binding and keeping the brakes on ( smoke after a short drive ). I put the old pads back in at the time to allow the pistons to move out and not bind. Known problem with these phenolic pistons.
Bought a repair kit from ebay, new pistons, seals and dust seals. Worth buying new bleed nipples in case your old ones are seized and they get butchered.

11 years of ownership now at 84k. Still loving this car.

Also had the driver seat RH side repaired where the vinyl splits. Local upholsterer replaced with leather, looks great.

Next job the front torque arms to try to eliminate the slight knocking :)
