Hi all,

I have a 07 300c SRT-8 with 16,000 on the clock. Fitted a LMI Airhammer Design CAI on tuesday. First good run yesterday and a few times under hard accelleration it it started stuttering above 5k rpm, couple of times it happened up nr 6000rpm. Is this happening because it is getting much more air and the engine management system can't decide what to do about it? It is fine for normal driving and only seemed to happen with the foot to the floor. Will a remap sort this?

If by "good run" you mean "mashed the motor", you may be spinning the rear tires as the horsepower and torque build from all the additional power (LOL) that the Air Hammer is adding, and hit the rev limiter in the heat of passion. Have you tried a less-than-maximum acceleration effort up to and beyond 5K RPM's to see if it stutters at a reduced torque level?

I agree with that ^^^^ and also would ask when was the last time you cleaned your throttle body?
