Well, I am too tired to post the full review (it's late), but here is what our friend Frank dropped by in today so that we could check it out:
Which looks like this on the inside:
And stops with these:
First impressions? WOW!! Despite only having a few miles on it from delivery (Woodhouse, of course), Frank even tossed me the keys and INSISTED I drive it. So I did! Quiet ride until you open 'er up a little bit. Still on break-in, plus it wasn't my car. Yet it still managed to pin you back in your seat, especially when you realize you are driving two tons of fun.
And those seats! They offer great lateral support without the stiff "bare bones" approach of the Viper SRT-10. Look great too. Car handles surprisingly well for its size, not to mention those awesome Brembo brakes that bring it VERY quickly to a halt. The interior is well laid out, like all Chrysler 300's. The 180 MPH speedo and "SRT" tach are a nice touch too.
I wanted one before and I REALLY want one now - only in black. My thanks to Frank for his very generous visit - he even took my son for a ride (the same one that has been all excited about the SRT-8 since he first started reading about it). Awesome car for an awesome friend!
