Hi,
I have a 300C SRT-8 touring from 2008, i guess european version….
Searching for headlights replacement, i am asked if i have xenon/HID or halogen headlights and ….. well, i have no clue what so ever, being expat and far away from the car for quite pretty long time…..
So i tried to run some research through my VIN number but nothing came out…..

So the question is, how can we confirm what type of headlights are installed on my car?
Thanks in advance for your assistance…..

Notice the projector lens in your main headlight housing? That is for the OEM HID system.

However you may have the projectors with halogen bulbs. Pull out the bulb and post a picture of it. That will be the best way.

I believe all European 300Cs have HIDs but as above take the cover off one of the lights and it's obvious from the bulbs

HID lamps when turned on get brighter with in a few seconds. Halogen lamps come full bright instantly.

All good advice. As soon as you get the dust cap off you'll see, the HIDs have a rectangular metal back whereas the halogens have plastic. Whatever you do, don't touch the glass capsule of the bulb.
