I don't want any more noise (my Mopar CAI is enough for me) but I think some larger tips would better compliment the car. Anyone tried this? There is limited space and I dont want to eliminate the resonators like a Blastin Bobs kit.

How big is to big? I have been looking at 4 inch but leaning towards 4.5 or 5 inch tips. Our factory is a 3 inch with 2.5inch inlet. Here is a link to one of the tips I have found.

STAINLESS EXHAUST TIP DBL. WALL 2.5" X 5" X 10" 4813-1:eBay Motors (item 270414371020 end time Nov-20-09 14:09:08 PST)

Any input or ideas would be appreciated.

I prefer the look or a rolled/tapered tip, but to each his own. You could just try going to a local exhaust shop and see if they have anything you're interested in. That's where I found my tips and I love em.

Did you leave on the resonators or have them removed?

I had the resos hacked. I don't think it made a whole lot of difference so I later went back and had them replace the suitcase muffler. If you want to keep the resos your selection will be limited, but any exhaust shop can do this for ya.

These are mine. As you can see, the resos are gone and in their place is a long hunk of chrome tip (3.5" I believe)

JCat, what size and make are those tips. They look perfect. Did you have to trim the bumper?
