Well, I just got done booking the hotels for the trip. The Magnum SRT-8 and I are headed to California to allow Magnaflow a chance to validate the SRT-8 cat-back system on a Magnum....Not that the drive there will be boring, but the drive home will much more fun!!!

Look for dyno testing and sound info on my return(actually, Magnaflow will probably have it up and reported before I return, so stay tuned). Install is Monday.

Be sure to get before and after dynojet data. I would be very interested to see if it gains as much as the 300CSRT8 did with the Magnaflow (14 rw hp?).

Unfortunately, due to my wife's work schedule and our kids, I have to leave Magnaflow almost as soon as the car is completed with all their tests. I am hoping to cover the 1400 miles home by late Tuesday evening. If you are in the area, I will be at Magnaflow ~7:00am that morning(Monday the 18th) and the appointment is for 8:00am, but I think they will start looking at it shortly after I arrive.

Oh, as for testing, Magnaflow is validating that the system fits the Magnum SRT-8 as well as the 300 SRT-8, but Magnaflow, being the great company they are, wants nice results for all. They are doing a baseline dyno on the car, it is bone stock, and some noise level measurements. After the install, they are repeating these tests. I am betting they post the results before I get home Tuesday, so watch the performance mod section Monday afternoon/evening.

That's a plan we'll pick up WD and go to lunch in the area. If not I can swing by and watch you pace the halls of Magnaflow. Either way keep us posted on this.

Guys, you know where I will be. If you wanted to stop by Magnaflow around 11:30 to noon, the car should be done so you could here it as well. I am definately up for some food before hitting the road again. I don't eat a lot when I am driving, so don't worry about finding some great restraunts or such.

All I can say is WOW. These guys know their S*#t. WD made it out hear to have Magnaflow do the exhaust on his SRT8 Magnum. He has a beautiful car. jketron and myself met up with WD at Magnaflow. The crew at Magnaflow were great and we watched them run the final Dyno numbers. We then went to In and Out Burger for lunch and to talk shop. On the way to In and Out the mouths were dropped and the heads were turning. For those of you who do not know jketron owns KING KONG a super charged SRT8, what a beast. We had a great time and I was in the presence of some seriuos machines. Here are a couple of pics I took. In the last photo WD told jketron "My car's faster than yours" LOL.
