Hey experts,

I installed my headers yesturday with no problem until... When I cranked her up she was not happy. She is missing really bad and it sounds like a popping back pressure/backfire after you get on it. The CEL will even start flashing the go constant. Also it doesn't want to shift under light throttle. I hear you may need to dremel the 02 sensors but not sure what part. Is it the black connectors on the extension, or is it the headers so they seat in farther,? HELP!!! I will have her up on the rack in the moring so I need a response ASAP!!! I know it's father's day and hope all you Father's have a good one!

Thanks,

You might want to get intouch with "Grinner". I believe he put some headers on also. Good Luck..

Grind down the stock plug fasteners. You'll see a rib on em that prohibits the new jumpers from allowing a connection. The front passenger is the hard one to get to as you can't really get to it to remove it very well. I could have used my son's skiiny arm to reach this thing but he wasn't there. I had to grind it down by reaching the diegrinder up to it, pinning it against it's surroundings and paying close attention I wasn't grinding what didn't need grinding. They all plugged in fine once this was done. I had to do the same when I added my blue headlight bulbs... just shave the nipple as I say.
