Hi all,

I am hoping someone may have some suggestions for me
I have a 2012 Chrysler 300 LX that has a problem with a headlight.

The vehicle is factory fitted with the HID Xenon style globes.

The problem is that I turn the headlights on, one of them is momentarily overbright then drops to normal brightness for around a minute before going out.
It is the same for both high and low beam.

I have tried replacing the globe which has the square base attached to it and it did the same as the factory fitted original one.

Many thanks
Any suggestions are much appreciated
James

It’s the drivers side that is affected irrespective of what globe of I have put in it.
Both the passenger globe I tried and a brand new one had the same issue.

If the light didn’t come on at all I would have suspected fuse or wiring but it comes on extra bright before dimming and then going off completely.
