The other day I noticed while driving with my headlights on (for quite some time) that the plastic on/off switch felt very hot to touch. It was not a hot day. I'm wondering if that is normal? It's a 2006 5.7 with bi-xenon/HIDs
As the switch is plastic (and not that heat conductive) I'm assuming the metal wires etc behind it must be been very hot.
Has anyone else noticed this on their cars and if not what could possibly cause it to heat up?
All my lights etc are functioning correctly & I've just put in new bulbs and they are correct spec (35w) The hot switch was the same before & after the bulb replacement.
Thanks in advance
