Tony, see my response to your related post here: http://www.300cforums.com/forums/exterior-visual-modifications/13433-best-fog-light-available.html

If you're concerned about running them as headlamp bulbs, which is a much more open environment than within the confined fog lamp recepticle, let the fact that they function perfectly as fogs put to rest any concerns about running them as your replacement headlamp bulb.

Now go enjoy.

Ive just read your post about the bulbs in your car.
Are they better then the Hoen's cause ive heard good things about them.
Also, what model numbers did you use for the Fog, Low, and High Beam.
Where did you get them and all?
Thanks again Meister.

Better is a very subjective term, NautcaSprt6. :)

I'll list my subjective reasons why the Xenon Plasma 9005 Super White (bluish tint) (100w), $4.99 ea. from http://autolumination.com, is the best choice for me :

1. Power: 100W vs. 42W (No, no heat or amp draw problems)
2. Price: $5 ea. vs. a lot of money per set for others.
3. Looks: Out-f-ing standing! Show-stoppers wherever you go.

I've run them for months without a hitch of any kind, have run them continuously for many hours (8 hours or more) at a time on numerous occasions, all with no problems. The wires leading to the fogs don't even get warm to the touch.

The drawbacks:
1. Must push harder to seat them (these are headlamp bulbs - thus the tang spacing is slightly off).
2. Must forever explain why they're not spontaneously combusting before the dazzled spectator's eyes. ;)

Check the fogs thread here: http://www.300cforums.com/forums/exterior-visual-modifications/13433-best-fog-light-available.html

See my pics of the 100W fogs, etc., here: http://photobucket.com/albums/a243/computermeister/?sc=1&multi=1

Provided your car's headlamps are non-HID, here are your bulbs: 300C non-HID headlamps: High 9005, low (Halogen) 9006XS
Note that the Xenon Plasma 9005 Super White (bluish tint) (100w) bulbs will replace both your headlamp high beams and your fogs, if that's what you choose to do.

Interior lights: I've also changed out all interior lights with bright white LEDs. Those numbers are here:

The front map lights: from http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm, the 9 LED Festoon Bulb, Color: SuperWhite, Size: 39mm, $6.99 ea.

The front under-door lights are # 562, 44mm rigid loop festoon.

The rear over-door near the grab handles is a # 194 bulb. located here: http://autolumination.com/194.htm

There are many choices for the 194 bulb. I use the multi-led one that has lights going in many directions.
