i can't find the headphones for the rear dvd player....found the remote which is stored inside the console but where are the headphones ?....and what do they look like ?

Two of them come in a separate box marked "audio" (box size about 20"X15"X15")....Standard over the head fit.....They are black, both have a volume control on one ear, batteries fit in the other ear. They sound great! (surround sound effect....even came with batteries)....If you don't have that box, better ask your dealer!!

At first, I didn't open the box, because I thought it contained some more manuals or something....nice surprise....the kids like them a lot....if they are playing their gameboy hooked to the DVD, or watching a movie, they can just put their headphones on so I can listen to something else, like a CD or the radio. I never wanted this option, but now that I have it, we are using it a lot! I would not want to do without it!

looks like my box of headphones is missing....i'll call my dealer right now....i do have the dvd manual and remote....i'm not missing anything else am i ??

Other items 'floating' around:

1. 6 - AAA batteries (two for the remote, two each per headphone)
2. NAV disc in case, with instruction sheet
3. Separate NAV manual
4. Separate Service Manual
5. Owners manual (different than the '05, includes DVD)
6. Update sheets for manual
7. Plastic carrying billfold to hold all three manuals
8. Trunk netting
9. Two license plate brackets
10. Tire Fix Kit (inside the trunk...pull-up)
11. Warranty mail in info cards
12. The car itself (you probably would not have missed this item!!),,
13. The eternal gratitude and support of the salesman who sold you the car (optional, depending on local availability)...

Oh, yeh, and don't forget those fashionable, yet 'chic' stock car mats!!!...Can't forget those!! :biggrin: They really should provide a checklist or something......BTW, I also kept all those plastic covers, foams, plant sheets, tags, stickers, etc etc that the dealor usually throws away.....I kept them....(how crazy is that?!)..

Sorry, there are two such manuals - one is called User's Manual for Navigation...It describes all the NAV menus and features....it's as thick as the regular owner's manual, around 78 pages long....

The other manual is entitled VES - Video Entertainment System, which talks about the DVD unit itself and the options. It is a much thinner booklet only 31 pages long, along with a few loose sheets of info....

And the DVD I mentioned is the NAV Disc....I had to put it into place myself, not my dealer during PDI.....loose sheets of paper describe how.....Mine all came together in one package....hope that helps!

thanks for the info Daryl !.....again where did you find your box of headphones ?....i checked my trunk again and underneath where the battery is....no luck.....my dealer will order me another....

The dealer just handed a box from factory with them inside along with my manuals....I don't think it was hidden anywhere special in the car, but another owner on this forum (I forget who) said he found his box in the trunk, in the spot where the spare tire would have been....Your dealor should get them replaced....I'm sure they have parts numbers and can be had easy.....If you need pictures any item you think is missing, I could do some and post them...let me know....I wouldn't be able to right away as I am heading on a road trip this weekend.....Good luck!...Are you missing the manuals too, or just the phones themselves?....
