Well this question is mainly for people with Remote Start Equipped Vehicles.
Is there a way that the heated seats can be on when we Remote start the car. The cold weather has hit New York now, and when I get in my car, my seats are freezing.
I know that when you turn the car off then back on, it does not remeber the on/off position of the heated seats.

I have the dealer remote start also and have not found a way to keep the seats on. Shut the car off and the switch goes off. I had a 99 Buick with a remote start and the seats would stay on unless you switched the button off manualy. It seems funny 5 years later & technology that Chrysler can't figure out that this is what consumers want.

Maybe aim the vents at the seats. When I leave the car, I put the heat on the highest settings and aim it at the steering wheel.

remote start not for winter alone

Considering that the Remote start is also a useful feature for those incredibly hot days when you need the car cooled down by the time you get to it, it would not be a good idea for chrysler to hardwire the seat warmers to the remote start :)

Wonder if the compustar unit someone mentioned has a "disable" function for the heated seats.

Just wait until you try air conditioned seats (Cadillac/Infinity currently have) - then the lack of remote activation will only double the suffering.

benz also. The A/C seats are an awsome feature.

Funny that you asked that questions about the heated seats. I was complaining to my girlfriend the other day about this exact feature. Her 2003 Beetle can keep the seats on when you use remote start. In the summer you can turn it off so that it doesn't start with the remote start.

Yeah, my brothers 05 accord has them, but its a switch button, not a press button like the 300's.
Damn it.
