Heater return line.

Today I replaced my thermostat and thermostat housing. I also bought a new heater return line tube and hoses. When my mechanic replaced my water pump. He advised me that the aluminum tube on the heater return had a leak through the weld. This part attaches to the thermostat housing. We'll today when we were taking the tube and hoses out. To put in the new one. My son pulled it out. Without paying attention how the tube gets routed to the thermostat housing. I have no idea how this gets put on. When we took it off. We took it out under the car. Does someone know how it get routed?
