I found this board while looking around for some info on my soon to be delivered 300c. I've been lurking for a little bit and decided to sign up with this awesome board. i've learned so much about the car in the past week from reading this board non stop :D

I can't wait till i take delivery of my 2006 magnesium 300c in the next couple of days. there aren't many of them here in Kuwait and especially in this colour which there are currently only 2 and one of them is mine heheh :D the next batch also will be only black, silver and gray, the most popular colours.

apparently they ONLY have them optioned out and also slap the magnum rims and Pirelli P7's on the ones here so that's an added plus, the only things missing are navigation, uconnect and sat radio (useless in kuwait i would imagine). i am planning on adding an eclipse screen and maybe some 20' wheels down the line. I LOVE THIS CAR :nutkick:

...to your new home away from home! :)

I'll let someone else review the credits of some of the many members here (Mr DJ, you out there?), but rest assured you've come to the right place. Additionally, our moderators and administrators are without equal--anywhere.

And just in case you hadn't picked up on it yet, along with the rims & P7s on your amazing automobile comes a 155 mph set point (speed limiter), vice the 127mph one we North Americans receive. Count your many blessings...

thanks y'all :), i wish they had temp plates here, i have to wait till tomorrow to get the plates fitted and finally recieve it.

another thing i noticed is that cars here come fitted with a massive fire extinguister bang right on the drivetrain hump in the middle of the backseats! is this normal? the dealership said the cars come fitted like this from the factory. it's is horrendously ugly and just unnacceptable but the dealership assured me that they have done removals for all of them and placed them in the trunk.

JC, nice initials! I would also like to welcome you to the forum. I think that you will find the members to be friendly, and extremely knowlegeable, sometimes also very opinionated, but that seems to always be the case. "I know what I like, and don't mind sharing". I am as quilty of that as anyone.

sorry monsta my handle is the name of a song from a band i like.

I got my car today i can't stop driving it! i think i wasted about quarter of a tank just cruising back and forth on the beach road and giggling like a little schoolgirl. :nutkick: it's so unusual to get looks when you are driving a car in kuwait because there are so many nice cars but i think my car actually manged to turn some heads! like i mentioned it's still pretty unusual in kuwait and i hope it stays that way. i need a digicam :(

the only thing that seems to be weird is that the seat doesn't go back when i turn off the ignition. i have it set to allow driver out setting and the steering whell moves up and out of the way but the seat doesn't move. i'm guessing i am doing somethign wrong here. i also tried to set the trunk to open after one click according tot he manual but i jsut can't get it to work. i have to hold the unlock button then press the trunk open then let go of both of them and i do that but it won't work.

Let me fix this for ya... Try to set the seat a little forward or a little backward...You might have to set a more then just a little forward or backward but this will fix this problem. Same with the wheel.

thanks first300 that worked like a charm as son as i adjusted the wheel and pedals to match. now if i can only figure out the trunk. the problem is there aren't any visual clues that tell you if you are doing it right and the manual says to hold the unlock button for at least 4 seconds but no more than 10 seconds.

i honestly didn't even know you could set the trunk to open on one push until i saw it in the manual, and i am a bit skeptical if that actually works.
