I live in the Detroit area. Can anyone suggest a place to go? I would prefer to go somewhere that has experience with the 300.

I had a system installed at an aftermarket shop but I had problems with it. My check engine light would not go out!! After trying, and trying, and trying... They were not able to find the problem so they removed the system and refunded my money.

I think I definately need to have something more than the factory "alarm" system. I think that system is a joke. The thief has to open the door in order for the honk to sound.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need this system ASAP! :grumpy:

Thanks

Hey,
The factory alarm is great.
first off its not what you think.
you have options.
the first is the remote start, then there is the remote start with alarm.
the difference is that the one with just the remote start uses the orignal alarm, and if you get the remote start with alarm, what it is is that they add the sensor device so that if it gets bumped the horn and the siren sound.
thats what i have.

Thanks NautcaSprt6. I definately want to go for the second option. If someone bumps my car I want the alarm to sound.

My salesman suggested a place called Auto Ameristar in Redford. Has anyone gone there? He says that they have done a lot of car from there. They have a system (remote starter with alarm) for $419 installed.

How much have you guys paid for your systems?
