I had Best Buy install the head unit yesterday, and after a 7 hr ordeal...yes 7 hours....I get the car home finally, and notice that the DVD only has volume, even when parked.....No Picture. Will grounding the brake wire elimanate this issue, cause I am assuming that the installer did not ground.....Thanks

It will work

Yes you need to ground the brake wire i beleive its brown in order to get the picture to work. I do all my own installations. I have the KVT-819 . Hope this helps

I didnt have to ground nothing I had to put in a code on the head unit

yup

ye you can do either , ground it or put the code in. I prefer grounding it, this way if you disconnect the battery or lose power , your not inputting the code every time. o well , glad that you got that going. sik head units
