Hi Guys,
Sorry to bother you all,but i have a bit of an issue with my 300c 2005 lpg converted, which a diagnostic machine can't even find the fault.

1. The car some times stalls at traffic lights, or when reverse is selected! its an automatic car.

2. Engine management light comes on, diagnostic machine says "mis-fire" even though the spark plugs have been changes 3 weeks ago.

3. 2 Days ago i was on the motorway, on comes the engine management light car speeds up hits 80MPH then slows right down.

Any help would be great.

How old it the system?
did you have it fitted?
Does it had it own ecu that you can run a check from?

Hi,

Its Brand New top of the range I had it fitted in March 2014.

It was professionally fitted.

I i had no idea regarding the ecu, although the onboard system states "system ok"

My mechanic did a diagnostic check & it came uo mis_fire although i only had the plugs changed 3 weeks ago.

Ok thank your for the info but how did you come to that conclusion? so i can inform the mechanic? as he seems stumped? you a most helpful person if it works

i have had a couple of lpg converted car that after the fitting stalled, ( also auto ) took them back the adjust the setting / mixture and was all good after, as i take it the Mechanic wasnt the lpg fitter?
