Well i was getting in my car and started it and all.
I then put the car in drive, and near the fuel gauge there is a Red LED and it was flashing for about 20 seconds.
After it stopped flashing i heard a sound so i looked in the advanced EVIC.
The EVIC said Last Chime Req "Slim".
Why did it flash red, and what is slim?

Were you nearly "empty" (since it was near the fuel gauge). Maybe "slim" level of fuel left? ;)

I dont think its that.
I usually drive til the EVIC says Low fuel than I fill UP(Just to lazy to goto a gas station) and it never did this before. Also I had half a tank of gas.
Im lost.

I'm not sure, but I think that light is for the security system? I had that light stay lit once when I left home. I stopped about 2 blocks away to drop off my daughter at her friends house. I shut the car off and looked through the owners manual for the meaning of the light. Couldn't find a thing about it. Diagrams show the light on the dash, but don't describe it's function. I started the car back up and the light did not stay lit this time. I do notice that this light blinks slowly when I lock the car. I just assumed it was a security glitch.

NautcaSp rt6,

Hello, This is Brian Carotenuto. The red LED light is part of the SentryKey Immobilizer system that is in our cars. They have it in all the LX based cars. What it tells us is that a correct key was used to start the car. If a different key was used to start the car (new key not programmed yet, but cut to the ignition lock code, etc) the car would receive a signal and not start. Same kind of system used in the GM cars with the chip embedded in the key. The chip for our key is embedded in the key fob. The cost to obtain a new key for our cars is about $150. That may be a little high, but the cost for the key is at least $100, due to the fact that we have the keyless entry fob on the key itself, rather than a separate transmitter. I hope this helps.

Sincerely yours,

Brian T. Carotenuto

That red light next to the fuel guage IS for the Security System. Don't know what it would be flashing for; I would ask the dealer about it.
Thats what I mean.
I had the dealer install the remote start with a better alarm system and this was the first time it came on.
It never ever did this before and I had the alarm installed about 2 or 3 months ago.
Also, i know it blinks when the car is armed, but this was flashing when the car was on and in D.
Im also puzzled as to why the EVIC said SLIM. It was not SKIM.
Guess we'll just have to leave it up the "The Mystery Machine"
