First of all this company ROCKS!
Their customer service is 1st class!
And the bulbs are awesome and match up very nice!!!
Comparing to the Slyvanias that were in there is not even fair to Hoen...
the difference is literally night and day!
Gary Brown is the man over there and really knows his stuff.
I bought the Hoen H-10's and did the install last night...
took about an hour...
At first it was a bit daunting when you stick your head underneath the front end of a 300C SRT-8 (as it lower than the other 300C's) and there is alot of plastic with no openings at all anywhere...
So I got the jack and pumped up the left side first and got the height I needed...
I removed the 3 plastic plugs from the wheel well molding and the black undercarriage piece that is tied into the bottom of the spoiler.
I then removed the 2 screws that tie in the undercarriage plastic and the bottom of the spoiler.
I then pulled back on the black undercarriage piece...
mind you, you are on your back and it is tight due to the wheel...
and I was not taking it off (the wheel)...
once I pulled down the undercarriage plastic, the shroud tunnel for the brakes from the opening (to the left of the fog light) is clipped on in 3 spots and pops off easily.
You have to remove this piece otherwise you cannot get to the fog lights...
once that is done you have a pretty good size opening on the left side (the right side is another story, as the windshield wiper fluid container almost butts up right against the back of the right fog light area) you can do it, but it is tight.
Turn the bulb unit counter-clockwise - it is in at 9 o'clock and comes out at 6 o'clock.
and then pull back on two tabs and the bulb slids off when seperated...
Don't take off the blue piece (that is a guide for the wires and attachs to the connector ataching to the bulb and is a bitch to put back on when you are on your back upside down)
pop on the HOEN bulb and re-insert and turn to clockwise to 9 o'clock and you are good to go.
test the bulb and see if it works...
and man you will notice a HUGE difference in the quality of the color - clean!, not washed out white/yellow...
and it is not "blue" even though the bulbs are (JohnnyVIG)
ok, now the fun part...
buttoning it back up (literally)
the brake shroud tunnel needs to be put on first and clipped before "tucking" back in the black undercarriage piece.
Then re-insert the 2 screws for the black undercarriage piece and the spoiler.
and then this was the fun part...
getting the black undercarriage piece to match up with the wheel well plastic...
the plastic bolts are reusable and easy to use...
it is getting the wheel well plastic back to the tire and tight against the black undercarriage piece that is tough...
as you have no room to get anything behind it like your hand...
and the tire blocks the little opening that you could maybe get your hand in there to try...
after about 15 minutes got it to line up and 20 seconds later had them all in...
The right side had the windshield wiper container issue, but went in no problem.
And the 3 plastic bolts went in in 15 seconds this time with no problem. no delay.
and the lights look SWEET!!!

How do you think they will perform in really thick fog? Will they be too bright and blind you at night? I'd also like to upgrade but ...
We've got some NASTY fog around here - "tuley fog" as they call it, so thick you can barely see two stripes ahead on the road at times.
I have a neighbor who flies your avatar...
as in Tulare, CA.?
that stuff is thick...
Yup, Tulare, but I live NW of there a little bit. What's your neigbor's callsign? Maybe I know him.
