I noticed a circle hole cut out in the plastic near the front passgener side fog light. Went to dealer and noticed it on all other C's on lot as well. I looked at Base, Limited, Touring models and they do not have this. What is this. I assumed it was for the engine block heater but it wasnt, asked the sales guy and he had no idea as well. The hole is only the the C's.

Best I can tell it's either the ram air scoop for the headlight cooler,

or

A factory ubersonic "deer whistle" type of device that alerts all lame vehicles ahead of you to get the hell out of the way! It can only be heard by vehicles in the front of you, so you'll never hear it in the cabin.

Hey,
I was thinking the same, but there is a thread somewhere here that says what it is.
the hole is for the plug of the enging block heater option.
do a search on the forums for more information.

what is the porpuse of this hole

If you look at the general discussion forum. on page 14. you will this thread that was started. and was last answered on May 27 2005. it is about 3 pages long. :silly:
