I would recommend making sure all the contours meet first, the 3M tape should be pretty tacky but it takes pressure for it to really stick. Obviously properly prep the surface. If really in doubt apply duck tape over it for a bit with some pressure, can't hurt. Or just keep pressure there for as long as your forarms can handle it... Hope this helps

E55 kev, I bought the emblem directly from a chrysler/dodge dealership who sells stuff on ebay, I couldnt find any listed that were exactly what I needed so I emailed a bunch of sellers who were selling Chrysler emblems to inquire about purchasing one directly and they all said they had them, but they all had different pricing, i got it from a seller named FrederickDodge i believe for 15 dollars plus shipping, some other sellers had them for 25 and 30, it didnt come with a part #, I havent actually checked to make sure it fits the grill as the grill is back at my girlfriends place since the car hasnt arrived yet, but compared to the stock grills ive seen in parking lots, it is the same exact oval emblem that comes in them which im assuming is the same size opening in the ultimate chrome grill we both have...

edit-
here is the guys email address i bought it from
[email protected]

I believe his name was Larry and he was very helpful and shipped fast and accepted paypal, hope this helps....

Make sure the surface is wiped clean with a cleaner or rubbing alchohol first.
Press on the emblem and use a hair dryer or heat gun and keep pplying pressure to the emblem. Even if the sticky side tape was not real sticky to begin with, this procedure will help you attach it securely. If not, buy new 3M double sided tape or use epoxy to attach it permanently to the grille. If all else fails, you might have to buy a new emblem and start all over again! I've got a brand new, still in the Mopar package, winged emblem for sale if you are interested,
PM me if you are!!
