How Much Do TIS 20X8.5 Rims Weigh....

Any Style

Just need to know how much they weigh...

Thinking about the 06's or the 07's

Either that or the MC2 FZ15's From Mopar Super Center or Wyckoff

Let me know how much they weigh.. I thought they were Heavy but I recently heard that they are Forged.....!>!>!>

So therefore they must be moderately light... at least near stock...

And the whole forged thing?....

www.autotrucktoys.com has a blurb on TIS rims in which it said they were forged... I called and asked and they said yes....

Who's right????

For the prices on TIS, I doubt they are forged. A comparison is Asanti 3 piece forged wheels are around $1250 a piece.

In my research, I have received info by calling TIS/American Racing actually manf TIS product and they have given me a weight of anywhere between 35-40 lbs. I've written posts on this in the past where, my tire guy and I would call manf on different days at different times and receive different answers. All that told me is they didn't know (which is scary) or they didn't want to give me accurate info. Anytime you call the manf and they can't give you a consistent answer on something like this, I choose to not deal with them and the unknown. I don't believe these are forged wheels either.

The TIS wheels are cast and they weigh 45lb.+ depending on the model.
