How much interest is there in the Borla exhaust?

Wondering if we should get a little group discount going? :)

BORLA exhaust is built of aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel -- stainless inside and out, not mild steel, not aluminum, not coated aluminum, not just wrapped with stainless on the outside for show. Coating techniques, such as aluminizing, can somewhat prolong the life of mild steel, but coatings suffer at the weld points. And, comparing aluminized steel to T-304 stainless steel is like comparing gold-plated metal to solid gold! T-304 stainless steel has the highest chromium content, making it the most resistant to corrosion and therefore the most desirable material for a long-lasting exhaust system. Note: Only the flanges are not stainless. In our twenty-year experience, we have found the 3/8"--1/2" flanges are so thick they will never affect the performance or longevity of the system.

The performance advantages of a BORLA are widely recognized. The top engine builders in the racing world rely on BORLA exhaust for maximum performance. In fact, BORLA is at the forefront of the movement toward responsible racing with our full line of patented, award and race-winning racing mufflers that not only maintain a race engine’s power, but in some instances actually add power. This technology is incorporated into BORLA exhaust for the street, providing 7-10% increased horsepower and torque when you plant your foot, and improved gas mileage at cruising speeds.

A "True Dual" setup would be nice. No Cats with a maybe a H or X pipe? That would be nice.. :)
I hate to say it, but I couldn't wait for the group buy, I already ordered mine....
I'd like to couple installing a Borla or Magnaflow with a set of Dynatech Longtube headers. I'm leaning Borla over Magnaflow, but I'm really not sure which to go with. If you can make up my mind, I may be interested in the group buy. :D
I second that request for a Borla/Dynatech package.

JW..please give us a report when installed, cost of unit and installation costs. smog pollution controls a problem? and most important to me, the sound at highway crusing, is it reasonably quiet?
4th on the package deal!
Looks like the package might be popular :)

btw- Part numbers for the 300C and Magnum are -

140112 300C Borla catback $999.99
140125 Magnum RT Borla catback $999.99
If the Borla price is $999...isn't the one that Mopar Super Centers offering the same thing for $741. Or were just listing the retail price. What is the current group buy offer on the exhausts alone (the headers might not be legal for me in Cali).

I appreciate your help and I am extremely interested. Thanks TBYRNE
Thanks for pointing that out. Someone made a mistake when they went over the prices because $999. is more than what Borla would sell them for (that is $949.). Our pricing for these is -

140112 300C Borla catback $849.99
140125 Magnum RT Borla catback $849.99

We also have a Price Match Plus Policy if you find a lower advertised price -

*If you find a current lower advertised price that we can verify we will meet it and also deduct 15% of the difference! This applies to most products that we carry and the price has to be something that anyone can view (e-mail and phone quotes don't apply). Just let us know about this when you place your order and e-mail us a direct link to the specific pricing. Discounts are not available if you find a lower price after you place your order and this can't be combined with any other discounts.

We don't have a GP price right now but are offering 10% off all exhausts that are ordered by Sunday.

Difference Between Mopar Super Parts Exhaust and Borla

According to Mopar Super Center these exhausts are also made by borla in a previous post by Mopar Super Center. Does anyone know the difference between the two being offered?

I'll check with Borla in the morning. I blew up the picture of the muffler and saw that it says Mopar.

Ok, thanks for checking. So anyways how much is the package going to be with the headers? And how difficult would they be to install?
I don't have any pricing for the headers yet but I'll post more info as soon as I receive it. The install doesn't look like it will be to bad as far as headers go. There seems to be enough room to get to things under the hood and from under the car.

Thanks so much...seems like it will be a pretty cool mod.
Ok, I'm only in for dynatech headers now. I found a $599 deal for the Magnaflow Cat-back system.

Borla VS Mopar Performance

First let me state this.
Borla exhaust kits are a top notch product!

The Mopar Performance cat-back exhaust kit is an exclusive design made by Borla for Mopar Performance. Borla does however, offer a slightly modified design of this same system. From what I have been told by Mopar Performance Division, the Mopar Performance cat-back is almost identical to the upcoming SRT-8 exhaust systems. As far as Borla's package, great product, same design cues, slightly different, they did this with the Prowler exhaust kits also. From what I have seen, it looks as if the Mopar Performance kits are less expensive, same great materials, designed directly with Mopar Engineers, tested by Mopar engineers, but don't carry the million mile warranty. We have several of these on order, due in next week. When they arrive, I will be more than happy to post more info about them in our vendor section under this thread. http://www.300cforums.com/showthread.php?t=1818

Not trying to hijack a thread here, just wanted to answer some questions concerning the Mopar Performance exhaust.
