a few weeks ago i had a bad experience with a cold air intake for my 300C. they screwed up on the installation and my car has been running crappy ever since. i put the stock intake back on and it didn't make a difference. i bought and installed a new IAT sensor because they may have damaged the original sensor and have had the new one for almost a week. If the sensor was the problem would my car have to relearn the fuel/air mixture again with the new sensor? The symptoms my car has right now are poor acceleration, RPMs go higher than they are supposed to, hesitation and overall a big loss of power. I am guessing although it's unlikely that they also messed up the throttle body but i'm not sure. Does anybody know what else could be the problem?

Just a suggestion but, check if the IAT sensor is facing the right way or if any oil or water got onto the sensor plug. I somehow got alittle oil residue on the plug and it haunted me for a while regarding performance.

OR check if the throttle body plate is positioned properly.

Also... and this is just throwing it out there because it happened to a buddy, check to see if the fit of the sleeve is properly positioned on the throttle body. A buddy didn't seat his right and his was curled up at the bottom... Same symptoms.

Hope it helps, probably won't, but good luck.

yea i made sure the sensor is facing the right way. i will check for residue on the sensor although there shouldn't be since it's brand new. could be the throttle plate too. thanks for the advice
