I have a 300 Touring and am wondering if I need a bypass module in order to use remote start? I was reading up and it seems that only the cars with the grey keys (sentry) need this. My key is black. Does mine still use the sentry system?

Only the Sentry keys need an bypass. If your key looks like a regular key from the hardware store, you should be fine.
Ask the installation shop and they should be able to verify.
