Hi I am a new owner of 300c, I note that none of the door/window switches illuminate nor does the heater controls.....are they linked ? is this a common fault with the 300c? any known fixes ?

also looking at changing out door puddle lights for led festoon bulbs, again any help or advice appreciated from people who have already gone through this....

The lights on those assemblies are NOT on the same circuit. It sounds as if the miniscule LED's on the switch boards have perished.

You mentioned heater controls as well. Doors should be on the same circuit, heater controls are on another circuit.
