Hello, I recently went through my info screen on my car and found my transmission running at 190 degrees....

I feel that's hot, since my oil temp is at 192....


Any spec on operating temperatures?

Great answer, the reason why I ask... Is I'm having problems with my transmission shifting when it's cold.... So I was wondering maybe there is a blockage or an overheating issue.

In the morning, 70 degree weather... In Florida... When shifting from 1st to 2nd, it clunks into 2nd pretty hard... And it downshifts hard too... When it warms up it improves, but this high temp reading was curious to me, since transmissions usually run cooler then the engine.
