Ok heres whats going on. My car for some reason starts to stutter almost to the point where it wants to shut off. This only happens when Im parked or at a stand still with the ac on. It happens often, maybe 2 or 3 times while Im waiting at a red light. I can see the rpm's drop slightly as well. Then it makes a clunk sound and then the rpm's read normal. I used to hear this all the time in my 98 Honda Accord. It sounds like when compressor starts up it causes my car to shake and stutter. I have a base 2.7 with about 35k. Anyone else have this issue? I still have time on the warranty but I need more info when I take it in because we all know the service at Chrysler. I need to have some kaknowledge to put up a good fight!

Thanks in advance

Sounds like it could be a combination of low idle speed (and failure of the PCM to adjust upon engaging the A/C compressor) and/or something failing in the A/C compressor which makes it much more difficult to turn over (bogging down the idling engine) when it engages.

Either way... the dealer and starscan should be able to feret the problem out.
