Call him the Titanium Man!

Styled after the black with Titanium-finished John Varvatos’ cologne bottle, a Titanium-finished grille surround, Titanium Chrome Chrysler “wing” badge and Black Chrome grille blades mimic the foundries that made Motor City flourish. For a more striking look, an aggressively styled front fascia integrates larger air inlets and features Black Chrome grille blades and Titanium-finished accents. Matching the cologne bottle finish are new 20-inch cast-aluminum wheels, day light opening surrounds and mirror caps finished in Titanium. At the rear, LED taillamps with blackened detail give a more masculine look, while dual-exhaust tips in titanium, and John Varvatos and Chrysler wing deck-lid badges finished in Titanium Chrome complete the look.

September 12, 2012 , New York - Designer John Varvatos, a son of Detroit, has never forgotten where he came from. As a partner, John Varvatos exemplifies many of the values that the Chrysler Brand reveres. He’s shown what a blue-collar attitude can do in a white-collar world, and is living proof that style and luxury can come from a place like the Motor City.

Like John Varvatos, the 2013 Chrysler 300 continues to prove that world-class quality, performance and craftsmanship can be designed and developed in Detroit. This collaboration enabled the Chrysler brand to mold its thinking in a similar way that has made John Varvatos a trailblazer of modern fashion. Influenced by rock ‘n’ roll and heavy industry, the Chrysler 300C John Varvatos Limited Edition and the 300C John Varvatos Luxury Edition, breed pride and give power to the meaning of “Imported from Detroit.” Both flagship sedans prove the belief, that when inspired, hard work can make beautiful things.

“Inspiration can come from anywhere, it doesn’t have to grow under office lights,” said Saad Chehab, President and CEO – Chrysler Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “Our new Chrysler 300C John Varvatos sedans are more than a design partnership. They symbolize the soul of two great brands, respecting their Detroit roots, and who share a passion to deliver high-quality design that’s tough, yet tailored.”

Chrysler designers working hand-in-hand with John Varvatos set out to deliver a concept that delivers on Detroit’s competitive spirit – if you come in early, leave late and work harder than the next guy, the Chrysler 300C John Varvatos sedans will reward you for your effort and persistence.

“Working with the Chrysler team on this project has been amazing. It captured my Detroit roots and the pride that we all share,” said John Varvatos. “It is a great time for a new generation of Detroit leadership in the automobile world, and I am excited and proud to be a part of it.”

Enforcer,

I love the car too, 4 months now.

Did you notice whether your brushed aluminum wheels have any clouding?

It's not a major issue on mine, but I see it on a few of the spokes. Chrysler dealer said that was the nature of the machining of the aluminum during manufacture.

Did you have your first oil change yet? I am only at about 2000 miles and was told to leave the factory filled oil in for several thousand miles.

There are 5 limited editions for sale in my area now. The dealer I bought my jazz blue from has 2. The dealer I was servicing my cool v has 2. And another dealer not too far has 1.

What was the rule regarding dealerships ordering them?

I saw the JV edition yesterday and was not too excited. One reason is that the "unique black" paint would be a pain to match and keep clean. Black interior also looked somewhat cheap as the seats had stretch marks on them already.

The new CLA is a real good car. A magazine did an article about the AMG version. About 350hp from a 2.0L 4 with over 300 ft pounds of torque going thru AWD. I'm not a big fan of 4 cylinders but I could probably live with this one. It only has a 25mpg EPA rating for the highway though which is the same as my 2013 Corvette Grand Sport that has a 6.2L V8.

Hi, I'm considering the 2013 V6: JVs vs 300s. I've noticed all of these have paddle shifters, but 300s have a D/S for drive and I think display either D or S. JVs do not appear to have have an "S" display and the stick is D with +/-. Controlling the shifting is important to me. Is there any real difference between JVs and 300s in this regard? Are there any performance differences?

Wow! A breath of life on a three year old thread.

Sport mode is selected on the screen. I have the 5.7 and the shift points are a bit later in sport mode, with a bit more aural effect as the RPM's rise.

In either mode, the shift paddle or the console stick is pretty responsive, and adds some nice interaction on the open road.

I'm embarrassed to say my 2013 (now 3 yrs 3 mos old) is about to turn 18,000 miles.

Question on the JV limited edition cars.
I am currently looking to buy one and I notice only the 2013 V6 cars and almost all 2013 V8 cars have that name tag with ####/2000 in front of the gear knob but there are also 2014 models of this car and none of the 2014 models that I have seen for sale have that name tag for limited edition.
Note: I am talking about the limited edition, I know the luxury doesn’t have that name tag.
Is it possible that 2000 were made in 2013 but they continued making them in 2014 as well so there is more than 2000 of them made?

Those name tags are for 2000 cars I believe since it has the ####/2000. I think they made 2000 JV limited edition in 2013 but they continued making them in 2014 as well introducing the AWD option with that. So I think they made more than 2000 of those. Not sure where an accurate data exists though. All I know is that I want a 2013 model V6 with low miles, hope I can find one.
