Ok, minor problem here... My order sheet and window sticker/sheet clearly indicate I've got Option Group II (Kicker) on my car (and I paid for it).

Problem is, where is it? Is there anything in the car that says "Kicker"? I assume there should be a big sub in the back somewhere. Don't see anything here:

Maybe it's a "stealth" install :silly:

Anyone know (or have pics) of it in a Magnum? This isn't a huge deal to me, certainly not enough to put off delivery over a long weekend. Perhaps a brampton worker was having a :friday:

Thanks for any input.

from the pictures on another post it looks like the car has the other Kicker speakers in it (or at least the drivers door) I would get with your dealer and find out what happend to your sub....it will only take a min or two to instll it. Here are some picts.....

I am going to follow this closely. We get our MSRT-8 on Sunday and it lists option group II but it does not have the kicker system in it(from the dealership). I have not seen it in person, yet. Your pictures introduced a little more anxiousness into this very short wait :D

Thanks everybody. Here's a few more pics.

From what I can tell there's 6 speakers in my car - 2 dash, 2 front doors, 2 in back cargo area. If there's any area somebody would like a pic of, let me know.

The dash speakers

Didn't see any connector around this area

Better pic of the door

CButler, you and all your cloak and dagger stories crack me up. Some day you will get your car and be happy. Your posts will either go up or down depending on when you actually get your car.............

The plug for the sub should be under the carpet flap that you have up in the picture on the drivers side.....it should be a four pin flat plug....if the unit was stolen the wiresw may have been cut....if someone just forgot to install it at the plant the plug may have been put under the pad....One thing for sure you should have a 10" sub in the back of your car.

More pics please!!!!

Nice pics Brett!! In the second set of pics u posted, I noticed a panel in the rear of the vehicle on the drivers side. Is the Kicker behind it? Also, from the pics I see you have the bright silver paint. This is the first time I've seen a silver Mag SRT-8 on any of the sites. Can you post some more pics of the beast?

Thanks,
Mungo404

Thanks. There's no plug or wire that I can see or feel (without pulling everything out of the rear compartment). If you know, is the wire part of every car, or just put in specifically for the sub?

The subwoofer harness is in all SRT Magnums..it may be under the foam pad on the floor and the plant forgot to install the subwoofer assembly. the sub mounts to the m12 stud on the floor under the carpet flap and sits behind the rear seat on the drivers side. It amazes me that the car could get out of the plant with out the sub...

Hey Mungo, it's Brilliant Black... :silly: I think the pics are probably washed out / highlights blown which is why you thought it was silver.

See http://www.300cforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8003

or gallery for more pics.

The panel you mention is just part of the interior plastic trim of the rear compartment. As far as I know, there's nothing behind it but frame and it doesn't open or come off.

[Edit -woops, my galley link was bad...]

Mistakes like that are a one in a million... the build sheet lists the Kicker system, and as mentioned so does the window sticker. Most likely it was stolen or someone at the dealership "borrowed" it for another vehicle or something...

The tire inflator's there - if you look at his pics on the other thread, in the spare-tire-cubby bin thing, it's on the left hand side. It's packaged upside-down, opposite the battery. It's got a little orange nozzle on it, which would be great for using the tire-fit kit as a beach ball inflator when you take your SRT-8 to the beach!
:silly:

Just make sure you undo the compressor hose from the fill bottle first. I've heard/read horror stories about accidentally turning the thing on w/out it being hooked up to a tire!
