Can dealers install launch control retrospectively on the 2012 models?

which says its possible and he has sent it up the chain and expecting an answer in 2 or 3 days.

No, it is not planned nor currently possible, direct from the SRT Engineers themselves. There is a physical hardware difference.

Ok, Anyone with a definitive answer for this. Does my early production (built Sept. 2011, VIN #000771 ) 2012 300 SRT8 have Launch Control? If so, how do I activate it? If not, can it be added/turned on? I asked my dealer, he said he never heard of Launch Control. (Maybe I need to find another dealer, LOL) A definitive answer one way or another would be greatly appreciated.

So one of these leads me to believe that Launch Control can be put into my 2012 300 SRT8 with a build date of 1/2012.

The others say "nope"...

I wouldn't mind Launch Control if it's possible.

Certainly the Dealers won't know since there are so few of these roaming freely in the streets.
