The statesman has more leg room in the rear than the standard 300c and makes a better rear passenger car.

I've never had any complaints about lack of rear leg room, even one of my mates, who is well over 6', probably closer to 7', didnt have any trouble in the back. There has to be some scarifices if you want to look that good.

FWIW the standard 300C has a longer wheelbase than both the Fairlane and Statesman.

Does anyone know if they sold the long wheelbase 300c into any right hand drive countries or was it North America only?

It was only available in NA and in limited number (4,000 from memory but t could have been only 400 :dunno:)

The standard car was extended by an external coachbuilder so was not a run of special platforms or bodies from the factory.
