Thanks for the heads up. This modified Magnum has been discussed often here and I believe it was shown at the Oct. Meet & Greet in So. Calif. Anyway, I love this program and hope it's the same session that will be showing here (Calif.) tonight on TLC Ch. 280 DirecTV from 9 p.m. - 11 p.m. Chip Foose is my hero!

Anyone check out the 300c mod the did on the Magnum during Overhualing tonight??
if i remember correctly, it was a touring front clip that they put on the car. it still looked bad a$$ and that Lavalee (sp?) guy is amazing with those real flames! god i wish someone would overhaul my base 300 and drop a 6.1L supercharged hemi in mine... that'd be a pretty decent sleeper with all the "base" exterior trim still intact.

Yeah, I noticed that too. All along they were stating that it was a 300C, but in fact it wasn't. As I recall, the 'Magnum' being shown at our October 15th Meet 'n' Greet was not that same vehicle....unless they repainted it for some incomprehensible reason...that flamed orange/copper paint scheme looked superb! :fing02:.

Yeah, chip foose kept on saying "300C" until they couldn't locate a "C" front clip and had to use that kids touring front. i've always liked the magnum front on 300 look. something different and if i could find a BB magnum to swap front ends i'd do it in a heartbeat.

It would be neat to see what Foose would do with the 300C...his designs are :headbang: pretty nice
Chip Foose and the supporting team are pure genius. I would love to give them my C, Carte Blanche and all. Hey, I have an idea! Why don't you go to the Overhaulin' site and nominate my C for an overhaul?? :)

I just watched the episode on TiVo and they only said 300C once. When the guy was on the phone getting the C to trade front ends. Other than that they only said Chrysler 300.

The two things that I liked about it was th edoor handles and the supercharger. I liked the way it sounded when they messed with it at the end.
I liked the concept of the "shaved" door handles, but I couldn't understand why they left the shape of the cutout visible. Seems like they should have filled the cracks and sanded it smooth before painting, but they didn't. Anyone know why they would do that?

Why have those touch points at all when you can have it on your remote and have cleaner lines? Seems silly.

I agree with you on that. The only inconvience may be for
the passenger, having to wait on you to open the door everytime they want to get in.JMO
