Just bought today:
Chrysler Maximum Care Extended Warranty 7/70 $100 Deductible. $900
Contact: (504) 367-8888 ask for Chad
 WOW! That's an amazing price. Would you mind posting the model year / type of your 300, please? Do you have the 2005 with the 7/70 base warranty or a 2006 with the 3/36?

The two big "online" sellers want $1855 and $1905 for a MaxCare 7 year 100K mile $100 deductable on a 2006 300C, so you got an AMAZING deal!

And thanks for the tip!

Jasper. 2005 300C. I think the base warranty on this one is 7/70 on drivetrain and 3/36 on the remainder, but I'm not 100% on that. It has 10,400 miles. Purchased in Aug.2004 and waited on the extended warranty purchase to let the dust settle on the new model, since there was no penalty to wait up to but not exceeding 1 year/12k miles.
Call Chad.

Thats a good price, but you can get the same deal right from Chryslers own
website everyday if you want without having to go to some other dealer outside
of your area.

Here is the page that shows the prices for the zero, fifty, and one hundred
dollar deductables for the 7/70 Maximum care package.

I bought one myself with the zero deductable. I went to the Chrysler website,
printed out the info, and went down to my dealer and told them that if they wanted
my money, they had to match the deal their own company was offering.

They said fine, and I was out the door with my warranty!!

Here is the page showing the plans:
http://www.eservicecontracts.com/WarrantySelect.htm

Hope this helps.

The nice thing about the Maximum care package is that it shows you what
is NOT covered!! There are only about 10 things that this warranty will not cover,
and they tell you each one. This way, there is no hassles with trying to get your
dealer to fix something in the future. Its spelled out what is NOT covered, so
everything else IS covered! Its really a great way to do it in my opinion.

eservicecontracts is not a Chrysler website
Really? I know the website is sponsered by them, but at least its still a real
bonafied Chrylser place, and not some ding-boo-how place selling extended
warranties.

Anyway, yes, they are really good people to deal with, with the best prices on
the real Chrysler extended warranties I have seen.

The nice thing about their prices is, its HUNDREDS less than you will get at your
local dealer! And if you approach your local dealer with the info, and they are a
good dealer, they will usually match the price, or they will loose the business.

Its actually pretty funny to watch the finance guy, who tried to sell you
the exact same warranty a few days before, squirm when you show him
that you can get the same warranty for over $400.00 less than he quoted
you!! When you ask them why this is, thats when the fun starts...

Contracts

The website for the extended warranties is being offered by a Chrysler dealer in the midwest. It is a Chrysler warranty, good at any Chrysler. Just print the info, take it to your local dealer and they will match it. That's exactly what I did and it saved me quite a bit of money. I have a 2006 300C and I bought the 7 year 100,000 mile with $100.00 deductible. My local dealer was asking $4,300.00 for this, I got it for $1,900.00

Ayecarumba! Now thats a huge mark-up if I ever saw one!!!

The dealers must be offering the cars at lower prices now, and they figure they
can gouge people who don't know better on warranties to make up the difference!!

Man, with what you saved, you could go out and buy yourself all the mods you want!

Damn, thats one dirty dealer there. One question. What was the look on the
persons face when you showed them the extremely lower price! I bet they nearly
took a dump...

Thanks for the link to the actual sample service contracts!

Now that I see the contract, I'm frightened by one big thing:

"Plan service will be provided or assisted by the Dealer who sold you the Plan, at his place of business, using new or authorized remanufactured parts. In the event you cannot return to the selling Dealer for service, you may REQUEST service from any Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge or Jeep Dealer within the 50 States, District of Columbia or Canada."

Uh oh! So, if I "mail order" the DCX service contract from one of the online dealers, my local 1-Star Dealer might REFUSE my REQUEST for service, since he didn't get the big dough on the sale of the contract!!!

(It would be just like my 1-Star Dealer to try and pull this one, too....) :AR15firin

Anyone have any experience utilizing the service contract purchased at other than the selling dealer?
