Hey guys, my 08 300 has less than 600 miles, and sometime when i make a slow left turn, there is a strange, metal chipping noise that I heard from the left side. I have on aftermarket rims (still 17" only) that are an inch wider than stock, could this be causing the noise? Should I even worry about it? Thanks!

You probably need a 3mm-5mm spacer on the front wheels.

Start engine, turn full left, shut off engine.
Get down on your hands and knees and visually inspect the inside of the left front wheel for scrubbed rubber and/or gawled metal.

If it were the wheels, surely it would make the same noise when turning right too

Not necessarily.
A small variation in alignment can cause one side to hit and the other to not hit.
On my lowered Mustang with 18" wheels, the left front rim hits the tierod end fitting on full left turn, but the right side doesn't.
