Settled on a 35% IL legal tint ( I don't need the hassle of being pulled over). Tint goes on next week for $250 excluding the wind shield. What would you guys expect to pay to black out the chrome pieces with adhesive wrap? Does wrap blow off if high pressure washed?

Good choice on window tinting... always my very first mod.

35% is pretty much the norm. That's what I have. You can easily google the laws in your state. Probably front/rear 35/35 or 50/35. VA is 50/35 but everyone runs 35/35 and no one gets pulled. 50 is hardly worth the coin to do it.

Since I have the black chrome package, I bought the Dupli-Color "shadow chrome" kit and plan to make my chrome window surround match my rims in black chrome. It's irreversible, but I have already tested the product out on something else and it looks surprisingly good. Will get pics and stuff up when it's done.
