Hi
I recently installed a moustach trim on my 300C,however the 3m tape did not stick so well on the left top corner so there is now a gap, I have tried all kinds of glue from super glue to whatever I culd find and clamp the moustach to the body overnight ,when I take the clamp off it seems to hold, however later on the gap comes back looking worse because the clue shows, anyone know a glue I can use that will work,I live in Norway so I cannot go to store like home depot or such so I need a brand name or suggestions. If I wanted to take it off agian and re apply 3m tape is that possible,or do I risk breaking the ABS plastic.:pat:
Thanks

I dont know what moustash trim is but if its cold where you live when you applied it then it wont stick as well, the hotter the better.

What i would do is take off the trim if possible by using some fishing line to "cut/saw" away at the 3m double sided tape. Just remember not to pull on the plastic and let the fishing line work its way through the tape.
Then clean off the residue with something like the 3m Adhesive remover (it comes as an aerosol spray)
Apply some new tape to the trim once you got rid of the old one.
For added piece of mine you can buy something called an "adhesion promoter" which is also made by 3m and comes in little packs (i believe its a cream). This can be bought on ebay and some parts stores.
Make sure its hot and then apply again.

Hopefully that helped

okay i know what part you are talking about... try and take the entire thing off then use some goo gone to get the surface and paint cleaned up on the car and the piece then SLOWLY put it back in the box and forget about it... you will thank me later... the thing peeling is just your car saying "NOOOOOO i don't want to look like a blinged out porn star".... but if you must use the adhesive promotor

Make sure to use 3M VHB and wipe the area down with isopropyl before re-applying
