I have a 2009 SRT design crd that will not start. It unlocks with the fob and the headlights come on as normal, the seat program buttons work but when I put the key in and turn it all I get is a single bing and the only light on the dash board is the red alarm light that just flashes. Has anybody got any ideas please?

Light continuing to flash when the ign key is turned shows the security system thinks somone has tried to start the car with the wrong key.
Firstly,
1. Try the spare key, if that doesnt work,
2. Disconnect both Tyre Pressure Monitor Transponders (One under each front wheel arch behind the plastic cover) These modules or the connectors can fail and cause security and immobilisor problems.
