I have a 2005 Chrysler 300 with a factory navigation system in it. Im tired of not being able to plug my iphone into it to listen to music or having an AUX cord. The FM transmitter just doesnt cut it. Im wanting to upgrade to a Pioneer Double DIN DVD and A/V Receiver, 1400
it is the head unit that is available on the walmart website
If i buy this new stereo is there anything else i would have to buy to install it into my car?

Thanks

Yes, you'll need a harness that will adapt the plug in to work with the factory harness and allow you to use your steering wheel controls. See PacAudio.com or Metra for more info. I'm assuming your head unit will come with a mounting kit from the supplier.

The harnesses are specific to the brand head unit you purchase so if you change your mind, verify the harness needed.

And, if you decide to add an aftermarket amp later one, another harness adapter will be needed.
