Ok so i've had my car at the dealer on 3 occassions to fix this problem. Last time was for a full week.

The throttle control module was replaced on friday and all seemed well until today. It hit limp mode 7 times on the way back from sydney and i was FUMING!

It's not the dealers fault, I know this, it's an intermitent problem that just doesn't want to go away.

Fault code i get is P0642 - low voltage warning for engine/tranny.

Has anyone experienced this and was it fixed? I'm going nuts with this as it is the worst limp mode i've experienced in any car. Throttle has zero control and car revs at a constant 1500rpm.

Also i'd be really keen to speak to (phone) anyone who has experienced this or still is. I want to try and figure out what caused it.

I can say that the very first time I did it was when I ran out of petrol :pat:

My car did this once, when it was a week old, on the way back from Adelaide. It's now nearly two months old, and hasn't done it again. The dealer just cleared the fault codes, and it's been fine.

Sorry to hijack thread but I met aj510 at the Chrysler display at Darling Harbour today. The car looked great and got heaps of attention - well done mate. Did you like the sound of the exhaust?

Hemi57 has had limp mode problems I believe?

Thanks mate (got an entrants choice trophy :) ), was nice to meet you today. Your 300 sounded brilliant, think a cat back is going to be done very soon. When you were coming up the street, the rumble was AWESOME!

I'll pm Hemi57 if that's the case. Hopefully his is fixed.

FYI, I have been having network issues here in the office this morning but have been managing to get a couple of PM replies out to Adam.

I have been experiencing a completely different issue with SRT61, dynamic safety systems (TC, ABS, ESP, BAS) disable. No issues with the engine or ECU.
