Ok, I talked to my datalogger rpovider and they asked us to pick 5 items from the enhanced list an they would look into what it would take to add them to the base package as an additional incentive to the LX crowd. Development will start next week after we've picked our 5.

I just got on the computer today and saw the e-mail. Thank you for following this along. I didn't get a chance to call them today.

I would certainly like to see fuel injector pulse width info.
Engine speed is listed as an option up there, but I would have thought that would be standard....Either way, very important for any data logging.
Knock sensor voltage would be nice, but I am wondering if just watching the timing advance will give us an idea how much timing is being pulled(still nice to know if it is being pulled by knock sense, though).
What sort of MAP reading does the unit give in base config? If it isn't very clear or useful, I would like a MAP reading.

I will put some more thought into it. I am certainly interested in such a unit and I need to call them. Maybe I can actually go visit them this week.

I think it is pretty obvious we don't have a lot of hard core mod'rs on this site. The information this unit can collect and show us is basically a must for anyone hoping to mod their LX and get some sort of longevity out of it.

Anyway, after discussing the unit with them, I am going to purchase the OBDScan + CAN software and adapter they sell. It can and does read all OBD-II equipped vehicles from 1996 to now with only 3 exceptions(of which I wouldn't own and they are circa 1996-7 anyway). They have some info and some device coming in to help with DCX vehicles and once they have it, they will be able to offer additonal capabilities for us. I am going to have him add as many of the options as he can for free or the minimal charge until I get around 300.00 total for the package an options(basically, I am willing to go 100.00 in options). While this is not the ability to tune, it is software I can use. I help a lot of neighbors and friends with their vehicles and I will finally have a way to read the DTCs right here and not bother with a trip to AutoZone or similar. It will clear the DTCs as well....

We do make some self contained scan tools and were considering a DCX version but if this guy can do it I may not bother. Can you send me some contact info for them I have some questions
