Just wanted to join the group. I've been reading this great forum since I placed my order on Jan 4 '05 for a 2005 300CAWD.

It's finally in my possession. 16 weeks to the day I received a 2006 300C Midnight Blue AWD with the wood package and sound group II. Just what I ordered except the model year.

It was a long wait but well worth it. I LOVE this car already.

Please excuse the dirtyness, it rained as a drove away from the dealer.

sure, "except for the model year," and also this minor little thing called the WARRANTY that those bums decreased for '06!!

In any case congrats, and first stop for you is the window tint place, my friend.

Agreed

Yep, it's not a minor thing. However, really didn't have much of a choice if I wanted a 300C. Although they reduced ALL Chrysler 2006 models to 3/36K that doesn't mean another/better "warranty" package can't be purchased.

Congrats, nice car.

From the pics I don't see any size difference in the emblems

Thought the 06's were to have bigger ones?

What about the other new trunk grab handles and the aux. input on the stereo. Or does that only come with the nav system?

Didn't know anything about bigger emblems. As far as an aux input, in the owners manual the "more basic" radio does show an aux input on the front face plate. I have Sound Group II and didn't read the Nav portion.

There is no new trunk pull. I've been using the emergency release cable pull to get the trunk started.

Yeah - that good 'ol emergency release pull -- funny picture on there, like the person is running for their life. First thing my girlfriend said when she noticed the trunk pull, granted she's always called my car a "mafia/gangster" car, that "Chrysler didn't want any potential liability for when mafia guys put people in the trunk of these cars." Quite a sense of humor, that one.
