Hello all, this may be a little corny to some, but I love the new look much better than the old. You can see by the pictures below that the LED bright white are very clear and bright compared to the almose yellow stock lights.

By the way, they were $16.95 plus shipping and I got 2 sets on accident. I thought they were $16.95 each, and they were actually $16.95 for a pair I asked for 2 and got 2 pair. SOOOOOOO, if anyone would like a set, please let me know on PM $18.00 shipped. If not, I will send them back.

Let me know what you think!

Paul

I did my part for the fronts, now who wants to check on the replacements for the under front door, and the rear? LOL

I will do some checking and see if they make them.

i think those look sweet, and have been actually waiting sometime for someone to figure out the correct bulb size as im too lazy lol.
ill prolly get a set of these eventually, although i think some dim green lights to compliment the interior dash lights would really look cool, yet very impractical (i use the 'reading lights' alot)

Cheaper site $6.99 each, and bulb # 562 is for the front doors underneath. I am still working on the rear lights, the bulb is W5W for those.

Edit the W5W = #501

Numbers

hey Hemi, where are you seeing these part numbers on the autolumination site? Im referring to 562, 194 etc. All I see are dimensions and I don't see the rigid looped one..their site is so confusing!) I assume the 39mm array is the one for the front reading lights?

The W5W is the 194 bulb here:

I am going to call these guys just to be sure, but here is an email that I got from them...

The #578 is what I used for sure in the front top. The others I am going to assume he is correct, but I will call to verify before I order the others.

I got my front lights at this site. http://www.eautoworks.com/html/ORD-1-1-1-22502.cfm

They are bulb # 578

If you wan the front under the door they are #The 562 is the 44mm rigid loop festoon. Here is a link on the other site for them. http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm

The last bulb is for the rear near the oh shi& handles and that is a 194 bulb. located here. http://autolumination.com/194.htm

There are many choices for the 194 bulb. I went with the multi led one that has lights going in many directions.

I hope this helps sorry for the confusion...

Color choices

hemi and others,
Im thinking of going with the red LEDS for all the interior bulbs.. Reason being that these are only going to be used at night; to prevent the effects of "washing" out the retina by white or other colored light, the military and outdoor astronomers all use red light... I have ordered a set of reds for pure
night-vision-preserving functionality. It may take a little effort to get used to the concept but, physiologically, this makes sound sense.... What say you'all? Perhaps I should get two sets of each just to see the difference... aaagh this car is killing me!!

hmmmmm, not sure I am feeling the reds. I bought them because I saw them on a import at night at a car show get together and they looked cool. Maybe once I see the pics of the red I will like them better.

Please post them when you get em.

Reds?

You mean you saw the reds in an import? I know that the Audis use a lot of reds in the instrument cluster for the same reason that airplane cockpit clusters have red lighting- to preserve night vision.. One reason I didnt really appreciate the green in the C's cockpit :)

How Do you Swap the Dome Lights?

Sorry, but is this install easy or hard? and if easy....how do you do it? (is it plug and play) I think i will be ordering everything in the the Super White color(dome lights, trunk light, oh $hit handles, under door lights....so is this something i can do, or have to take it somewhere?
Thanks
Matt
P.S. I will record a list of part #'s and description when i order them, and pics when installed...so hopefully this topic wont be so damn confusing!
