It has been brought up that maybe we should change the Name of the Club with this new interest. I know that at the midwest meet we invited the LXForum guys and 3 Magnums came out. Since the Magnum and Charger are also part of the family why not. Since were starting anew, change the name to reflect all the members and fans of the LX platform that Chrysler has reinvigorated Mopar with.

When we named the Chrysler 300M Enthusiasts Club, we actually could not incorporate under that name, due to Chrysler trademarks. Instead we became "New 300 Enthusiasts Club", but requested permission from Chrysler to operate under the assumed name of "Chrysler 300M Enthuiasts Club". The names "Chrysler" and "300M" were trademarked.

We could try something like LX Enthusiasts Club or LX Owners Club with three divisional assumed names:

Chrysler 300C Enthusiasts Club
Dodge Magnum Enthusiasts Club
Dodge Charger Enthusiasts Club

I joined the 300 Club...
Because I wanted to be associated with other
300 Owners;to share information,ideas,and experiences.
I didn't sign up to talk about Magnums ( fine car also ),
or Chargers (another fine car ).
I joined the 300 Club.

I like the name club300. I too (like lik2race) think that this is a 300 oriented club. I like the other LX cars and wouldn't have an issue with any of them participating in our thing. My primary interest - however - is in the 300 (particularly in the C and SRT8). I'm not really interested in other LX models (at least as club members).
Sorry if this seems shallow - just how I feel.

Idea for logo

Here's a logo I did quick myself this morning. Please give feedback as how to instruct the real artist. Just needed something to go from.

I understand the Club 300 thing but what have we done with it?

Opening up to all LX's gives us a bigger base to work with. Then from there you can break it down to car types. So really Its not going anywhere its just opening it up to bring in more people and hense more ideas to the club. We need people that are willing to make the effort that BBH has brought up in other posts that a club is going to need to work. It's not a one man thing and its not going to be easy or quick.

OK. I don't disagree. Maybe the club can have "focused" areas of interest (but under one club). One thing that I am totally in agreement with... the club has to have momentum and activity. The club300 thing seems too quiet to me - not any real reason to join other than a "virtual" badge. I'm interested in making things happen - particularly with respect to meets.
Again... I'm partial to the club300 name. If it's a case of NOT being able to use it (because it belongs to someone else), then so be it. Let's not just talk about it though...

We can't use the name Club 300 and expect to include Mags and Chargers. We need to be under the banner of LX. Then we can have model specific sections and events.

There is a Club 300 for classics.

If we dont talk about it we cant move anywhere with it. So untill it's all in place we have to talk about this and other ideas. I know i hate this part but....

First of all..after reading ALL the pro's and con's..
I would like to change my vote,on the name change,
from a NO to a YES.
Second- I do think that ALL LX models should be included,and
with that said,the name should be changed to reflect the consolidation
of these models and owners. It would provide so many good things for
us,in days to come.
I like many others have been waiting for "something" to happen with
our group,but just a few can't do it all.We all,in some way or another,
need to come forward,and do what we can to help "OUR" club.
It is"OUR" club you know,so be a part of it,not just a number.
So,in closing,let's start fresh-
New Name..New Logo..New Ideas..
