Might be a stupid question but why change the pulley..i know smaller pulley faster spinning but what's the benefits?????

The pulley will increse power to the wheels by about 10 rwhp. They also have a higher belt retention helping to eliminate thrown belts. It is also lighter than the stock harmonic balancer. You will need to use the dayco belt to go along with this item. Some say it puts more stress on your alt. But ive never had any problems. I would pick this item up as for the small amount of work it takes to install it is a easy bolt on giving you a slight advantage that no one can see.
