I just picked up a 2018 300s. I want to upgrade the stock headlights. Don't want to break the bank. wife needs brighter for night. Hid or led?? Which one is best? don't want any can bus issues either. Which brings me to the next issue. Fog light dropout? I did this on my 17 Ram with alfaobd. tried on 300 and would not take. What do I need to disable the dropout? Bypass cable or what?
Thank you in advance...

Does it not have the factory adaptive bi-xenon HID? They're really awesome headlights, if you don't have them, that'd be the thing to add I guess. How difficult or expensive that would be, IDK.

The inability to change the fog light is likely due to the security gateway module installed in 18+ vehicles. You'll need a bypass. Z automotive offers 2 options.

I personally haven't driven the car after dark. Wife says need to get brighter high beams so asking the experts.. Looks like I'll add a 2nd obd in the trunk.. Thanks for the lead... I'm installed hid before and the stock lights just come on and no warm up. so super stock halogen..

FWIW having highs and fogs on at the same time is a pointless **** move. The fog lights add nothing to visibility with the headlights on period let alone when on highs. All it's doing is adding to the glare you cause other drivers. Fog lights are really to be used with the headlights off.

Do they steer and self level?
