Worst idea ever. Why the hell would you want to reduce your eyes ability to see outside the vehicle at night? It just doesn't make sense at all...the reason that your eyes hurt when a car passes you at night is because your eyes are adjusted to see in the dark (and see what's IN the dark), and all that this contraption does is limit your ability to see in the dark. It's like taking a cold medicine that gets rid of your cold by giving you Syphilis. Like I said, worst idea ever.

Right, but I think you are overlooking a couple things.

1. The device adjusts the amount of light it emits to the light conditions in front.

2. If you get on coming car your visibility is already impaired. You will no be able to see as good and not beyond location of that car. After the car passed it takes some time for eyes to adjust anyway.
