following an old post on one if these forums I took the advice that you can fit non self levelling shocks to a car that has them. Well, I tried, The shocks I used were purchased using a part number on the forum, but... The thread at the top of the shock is too short to allow the top plate to body fixing to be attached. Another point that was observed was how easy it was to compress the non self levelling shock in comparison to the nivomat, which is impossible by hand. My point is, beware, unless someone knows better from experience.
